The Transgender Resource Center of Long Island (TRCLI) is a 501c3 charity established by members of the transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming community, their families, partners, and allies. Our goal is to build a new community center that will be a safe space serving as a one-stop hub for the vital resources that our community desperately needs.

Another goal of our center is to be a place where the members of our community are proud to visit. A place where there is a sense of belonging, free of judgment or discrimination. We assist those who visit by providing help with not only the process of transition, but any challenges our they may face. Our center provides support groups for the members of our community along with their families and partners. We provide workshops and  enrichment programs. We also help our community obtain access to healthcare professionals and housing. TRCLI holds a variety of events throughout the year, hosts guest speakers, and organizes group outings that better the lives of all that we serve. The Transgender Resource Center of Long Island is built on the ideas and input of the community itself. We are open to everyone regardless of where they are in their journey to being their true selves.

We hope you join us in our journey to build a safe place where we can all come to together, because none of us should be left behind.

We have to do it because we can no longer stay invisible. We have to be visible. We should not be ashamed of who we are. We have to show the world that we are numerous. There are many of us out there.” – Sylvia Rivera
