The Transgender Resource Center of Long Island is proud to announce the 4th annual Long Island Equality March and LGBTQIA Pride Picnic. Happening in Sayville, New York on Sunday, June 5, 2022, rain or shine, so save the date!
We will gather at the Long Island Rail Road parking lot, located at Depot St. and Green Ave. across from the Sayville train station at 12:00 PM, where all registered groups must check in with a representative from TRCLI. Cars wishing to park must enter from Green St.
If you are an individual or party who is not with a group, you are welcome to participate in the march with either TRCLI or our general group. Everyone is welcome!
Line up for the march will begin at 12:30 PM and we will step off at 1:00 PM. We will be marching to the Common Ground at Rotary Park in Sayville, where our Pride Picnic will take place. We will have community organizations from both Nassau and Suffolk County along with craft vendors, local food vendors serving hot food and cold drinks, entertainment and much more! The south side of the park will be a reserved picnic area, so come eat, socialize, and show off your Long Island LGBTQIA Pride, and don’t forget to bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs.
If you are unable to or prefer not to march, you can view the march on Railroad Avenue and meet us in the park. The event concludes at 6:00 PM.
It is free to march in the 2022 Long Island Equality March! Click the button below to register your group. If you are not a member of a group, feel free to join us and march with TRCLI or on your own. No registration is necessary if you are marching on your own.
